Transforming Your Life with a Kneeling Heart: Embrace Spiritual Growth with Community Support
What if embracing a "kneeling heart" could transform your life?
This episode of the Think Cute podcast promises to deepen your understanding of spiritual growth and personal empowerment. Broadcasting from the tranquil beauty of the desert, we explore how seeking first the kingdom of God can shift our mindset from obligation to opportunity.
Join me as we uncover the power of consistency and integrity in all areas of life, discovering how these principles lead to a life of abundance and alignment. Inspired by Deuteronomy 4:29 and the insights of Pastor Colin Higginbottom, we challenge ourselves to be unoffendable and open to growth, even in the face of criticism.
We talked about the principle found in 1 CORINTHIANS 9:27 that reads:
But [like a boxer] I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached [the gospel] to others, I myself will not somehow be disqualified [as unfit for service].
Our journey isn't one to be taken alone. This episode celebrates the importance of surrounding yourself with a supportive network—whether it be mentors, coaches, or friends—to help navigate the path of personal growth. We'll discuss the significance of nurturing relationships and the transformative power of embracing a community that uplifts and guides you.
As we launch the new season of Think Cute, I'm inviting you to actively participate by sharing your thoughts and insights.
Together, let's step into our true identity with confidence, love, and a partnership with a community that reflects the divine support we all need.

Hey, hey, cutie, and welcome back to the podcast. You may recognize the colors, but the name is new. We have streamlined our vision with the Think Cute brand, and so welcome to the Think Cute podcast, where we are disrupting toxic patterns, we are going after mental health for women and girls and we are pushing back the gates of hell and we are declaring that we are the head and not the tail, and that we are above and not beneath, and that we will stand in victory because no weapon formed against us shall prosper. In the name of Jesus, welcome to the Think Cute podcast. I'm so excited. There has been so much that has happened from the last episode, but, girl, we still have the same mission. We're pushing back the gates of hell, we're coming together, we're building this community of women who are strong mentally, physically and emotionally, and we're raising daughters. We are leading ourselves well and we are doing it with fashion, with style, with grace, with luxury, with all the things beautiful and cute that you can imagine.
Speaker 1:And today I just want to kick off this new episode. We are currently in the desert, so if you hear anything in the background, it's because I always find myself being the most creative when I get time to come out into a new space. The desert is like our second home and my husband takes the kids on rides and I get to be here by myself with the Lord and just be. My creativity just spikes. I don't know if you ever experienced that where, when you get time alone and you just and the Lord just downloads vision to you. It's just so beautiful. But today I was in with the Lord and he was showing me out of Deuteronomy 429, a kneeling heart. A kneeling heart. What does that mean? Well, in Deuteronomy 429, it says but if from there you will seek, inquire for and require as necessity the Lord, your God, you will find him if you truly seek him with all your heart and mind and soul and life. It also says in the word seek first the kingdom of God. And there's something I've been learning in that. I have been learning from Mr Myron Golden, and he shares it and articulates seeking first the kingdom of God in such a way that it is just simplified and it is beautiful and I'm going to share that with you.
Speaker 1:But when you think of seeking first the kingdom of God, what do you think of? You know a majority of us are going to go, oh yeah, okay. So I read my Bible, I go to church, I do the checklist and you know, I do all the things that I believe God wants me to do, and that would be very legalistic if you really think about it. And God is actually love In the New Testament. He actually is relationship. He's actually love. He actually is like partnering with us. He's not telling us to do this, do this, do this. He is inviting us to do these things in relationship with him.
Speaker 1:And so what I've learned seeking first the kingdom of God is I yield my life in such a way that I put God first, make him the king and Lord of my life, that then I follow the king's principles of the kingdom, I seek those principles first, I live my life out of those and I teach my kids and I, and I represent and be an example of those principles of the kingdom and that I, in doing that, in seeking the kingdom first, in honoring God in all that I do, in yielding my life to him fully, that is a shift in mindset and that actually requires us to learn. What does the king say about the kingdom? What is the principles that I need to be operating or I get to be operating under in order to fulfill my kingdom mission in yielding my life to God. I think that's just such a beautiful thing because it actually it takes it from I have to do this, I have to do this, and it gets us into this mentality and this beautiful, peaceful place of I get to do this, I get to learn this, I get to operate in such a way that brings peace, joy and love. And you know, if you know God is love and the Holy Spirit gives us gifts and those gifts are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. And all of the principles in God's kingdom, if we follow them, will give us and bear the fruit of those gifts love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and gentleness and self-control. If we operate in the kingdom under those principles, it's like gravity, like gravity is a principle, it is a thing that just is, it works and it does what it needs to do. And so God's principles throughout the Bible, they work and if we follow them to what he calls us to do, they just work and we will bear much fruit.
Speaker 1:I'm telling you, I have experienced, in the last six months and Ephesians 320, abundance in all areas of my life and I believe, if you know me, how you do anything is how you do everything, and it took me a really long time to really get that statement, like what are you talking about? That's not true. Because I really resisted that idea, because it's like, well, we do so many different things. How you do anything is not how you do everything, Like that's impossible. I believed, however, when I really sat down with myself, got super real and raw and like analyzed my results to what I was doing in every area of my life, I could recognize that how I did anything is how I was doing everything. If I was lazy in one area, I recognized that I actually didn't fulfill in every other area of my life fully. Like I was lazy in all areas, like I was taking shortcuts, I was not being honest with myself. I was. You know, how you do anything is how you do everything. I could see it playing out in my business, in my home, in my responsibilities, in my all the things.
Speaker 1:So I really had to sit with God and go Lord, I need your help, I need discipline, I need you know.
Speaker 1:It talks about in Corinthians. It talks about I. It says I can't give you that. I don't know the address right now, but in Corinthians, second Corinthians or first Corinthians, somewhere in the Corinthians it says I discipline my body like an athlete Lest when I go to preach I be disqualified Like for real, when you you are a walking example of your brand, of your business, of your family, of your parents. You are the example of God and so, whatever you do in the world and what people's experience of you you know you don't want to say one thing and then have them come over to your house and be like, oh, but you said you do this, but now I'm seeing you do this and it's incongruent to what you say you do. And now you're being judged and now they have the opportunity to disqualify you. You just lost trust with the people because you did not discipline yourself in order to stand on the foundation of truth in Christ, your integrity of who you said you were.
Speaker 1:I found myself falling short in areas and I was like I need to take this very seriously, because I do have a desire to not only raise very strong, productive, successful children, have an amazing marriage, extraordinary marriage, have amazing relationships with my children in the future, but also make an impact in the world for god's kingdom and push back the gates of hell. I can't do that if I am out of alignment and incongruent to what I say and what I do. Right, and so I had to. I really made a decision to take this on and um, I now, I, I my body. That doesn't mean you train yourself and you beat yourself up, weight training and you're doing blah, blah, blah. It doesn't mean that you're going to the gym and you're being an animal in the gym. Right, that's not necessarily what that means. Yes, you can work out and you discipline your body in that way, but there are many ways that we discipline our body. What do we listen to? What are we saying? What are we thinking? What are we eating? What are we drinking? How are we treating people? How are we operating in our daily lives? Do we need some more discipline in every area? How you do anything is how you do everything, and so man is this.
Speaker 1:I will put it in the show notes of the scripture and I would invite you to just analyze some things and, like you know, it's time to raise the standard. It is time to raise the standard, disrupt toxic patterns and operate in an excellent manner, like it is time to grow up. You know, I really would get offended if someone told me that before, but it's true, I have to chalk it up, I have to go. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's true, I need to grow up in a couple areas of my life and that hurts, to be honest. It hurts to not, you know, be great right now, because if you're anything like me, you're very ambitious and you're always learning, you're always doing something to get better. And when you find out that you're not excellent in an area, girlfriend, that is not fun and it is somewhat annoying, to be honest. So I, you know, and it's, it's a, it's a thing Like can we be unoffendable?
Speaker 1:I went through this program with, uh, pastor Colin Higginbottom and he said something and I'm like how do you do that? Like, you gotta be real, real strong. He said this is what he said Get your pen ready. Are you ready? Write it down If you're driving. Stop Just kidding, Just take note. Be unoffendable, girl. I was like, hmm, that is so mature of you to say that is so mature of you to say. That's so mature of you to say, However, how you do anything is how you do everything, and if we're not disciplining our body and we are falling short in areas and we're out of alignment, out of integrity, incongruent.
Speaker 1:If someone calls you out on something and you're incongruent and they, they disqualify you in an area and go hey, you said this, but you did this and this is, this is out of alignment, you're out of alignment. A mature person, a mature woman, will go. You know what You're right. However, an undisciplined, immature, emotionally unintelligent woman is going to go. How dare you say that? I've been there, I was her. I was like I was her.
Speaker 1:I was like, yeah right, I'm doing great, I'm doing this, this and this, and I would make excuses for my disqualification, of my out alignment-ness and I would get so offended. Have you ever like raise your hand? If you've ever been offended, girl, how can we combat offense? How can we be unoffendable? Well, I'm going to take you back to the word and I'm going to say I discipline my body Lest when I go to preach or live my life in public I am not going to be disqualified in a way. I discipline my body in a way that I won't be disqualified. I got to find it, check the show notes, but I'm going to put that in there for you.
Speaker 1:But are we disciplining our body? Are we yielding our life? Are we seeking the kingdom first? Are we yielding our life to the principles of God in such a way that we are operating out of those principles so nobody can call us out Like are we being excellent? Yes, we're human. Yes, we're. We're going to fail, and that is the beautiful opportunity that we have to learn. If it's not working for us, it's working on us, right, and so there's always something happening. All work works, so everything that we do, it never comes void in the kingdom of God, because it's either working for us now or it's working on us to build our character, our strength, our mental fortitude and all of those things. However, are we kneeling our heart to God? Are we seeking the kingdom first? Are we seeking him in a way that we like? It requires its necessity to to seek God and give it all to him that we could be changed and transformed so we can disrupt those toxic patterns.
Speaker 1:So I'm going to read to you a letter from God, and it's so beautiful. So it says A kneeling heart. A kneeling heart is more powerful than 10,000 empty, insecure prayers. This is the time to build an altar in your heart. It is an altar time. This is what you need. You will always need it. Altar time is the source of your life. In me, says the Lord, with me, through me and for me, says the Lord, it's with him. Bend the knee of your heart and move the world.
Speaker 1:One bent heart in worship and obedience cannot be stopped by all the demons of hell. No dark power can stop a bent heart of hell. No dark power can stop a bent heart. We are experiencing this in our government right now. We are experiencing this in the United States right now. Listen closely. No temptation can seduce it, no fear can grip it and no insult can wound it. A kneeling heart is immune to corruption. It, a kneeling heart, is immune to corruption, deceit, greed, lust and offense.
Speaker 1:A kneeled heart, a kneeling heart, cries out to the whole universe that I am King of Kings and Lord of Lords, declares the Lord to you in this letter. One kneeling heart is all it takes to change the course of history. We're experiencing this in the world today. Take note of this. Command your heart to kneel and it will obey you. Do not let it have its way. Bend it to my will, says the lord, and soon it will kneel on its own. If it's not working for you, it's working on you. So let the work work and eventually it says it soon will kneel on its own. One kneeling heart begets another kneeling heart, until thousands of hearts are kneeling and thousands of lives have been changed forever.
Speaker 1:Deuteronomy 4 29. But if from thence thou shall seek the Lord, thy God, thou shalt find him. If thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul, be obsessed with seeking the Lord, be obsessed with understanding the kingdom, be obsessed with finding out how the kingdom operates, so you can be the queen of your kingdom, your queendom, be the queen of your queendom, be the king of your scene, be the queen of your scene, whatever you want to say, but you can be lifted on high. So, so, so powerful, so powerful, so free. And think about this If we have such a vision, such a decisive course, such a focus on what we are doing, if we know the principles and we know how to live them, then what do you think Like?
Speaker 1:So much distraction will be cut out of our lives because we know our focus. We're not confused in this manner. When we seek first the kingdom and his righteousness, then we know that okay. Well, that toxic pattern. Once we become aware we think about what we think about, which that is a principle thinking about what you think about being transformed by the renewing of your mind, not conformed to the world, because when you're conformed to the world, that means you're a lazy thinker.
Speaker 1:Don't be a lazy thinker and be conformed. Be a disciplined disciple and think about what you're thinking about. Take every thought captive and submit it to the righteousness of Christ and to the truth of God and say is this real, is this not real? Of Christ and to the truth of God and say is this real, is this not real Like, is this a lie? Is this trying to kill, steal or destroy? Or is it trying to bring me love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness or self-control? Anything out of alignment from heaven and the gifts of God is from hell. So put it back in its place. This is. This can give us such a focus, such a simplicity, such a love, such a peace of mind. Right, like so I just want to encourage you today on this episode. Back you guys. I'm so excited to bring you just what God shares with me, my real testimony, how I am personally disrupting toxic patterns in my own life.
Speaker 1:To go to my next level, like being in our true identity, means that we have to be disciplined, we have to have a vision, we have to know where we're going. I just had to sit with myself today. It's like I was reading my declaration and my vision statement and there was a part in there and it said let me tell you this. It said I know my mission and I'm focused with expectation on my desired outcomes. And I had to stop myself. Do I actually, in today, right now, can I tell you my desired outcomes without thinking about it, or am I lying to myself that I know where I'm going, that I know what I'm doing? I had to stop and I had to get a blank piece of paper and I had to write my mission and I had to write my expectations of my outcomes because I wasn't clear on them. But let me tell you what, girlfriend. I'm clear today and I'm going to focus on that, because I don't. I want to discipline my body, I want to discipline my mind, I want to discipline my spirit in such a way that I have focus, that I have clarity, that I have confidence, because when you have clarity, you have confidence, and when you have confidence, you're competent to do the thing you're called to do every single day.
Speaker 1:And we do not have time to waste. Let me tell you this this is what Lord the Lord is speaking to me right now. He said we do not have time to waste. Our time is short. It is of a mist. Take a spray bottle and mist it. It is gone in a flash. That is our life here on earth. What are we going to do with it? What is our intentional moments every single day? What are we going to teach our kids? What are we going to show them through our actions? What relationships do we need to build, man?
Speaker 1:I know there are some things that God is showing me, but here today, let me remind you that you are the righteousness of Christ. You're forgiven, you're loved. You can be whatever you want to be. You're not stuck in that circumstance. You can step out of that circumstance. Look and decide.
Speaker 1:Decide to go a different route. You be the fork in the road. You know like when everybody's going left, you can be the one to go right and be unoffendable, because you have a clear mission and you know what you're doing and everybody's going to make fun. You have a clear mission and you know what you're doing and everybody's going to make fun of you and they're going to laugh and they're going to say you're wasting your time. Why are you doing that? That's not going to change anything, like they'll say, because they are crabs. They have crab mentality. When you go right and you don't follow the sheep, they will try to pull you back. The mindset that you have will try to pull you back as well. So you have to be intentional with what you're thinking about.
Speaker 1:Choose you and step into your true identity, because you are worth it. You are more than enough and you know, against every lie that tries to come against you, I bind it in Jesus name because, girlfriend, it ain't easy, but it's worth it. It's worth the fight. So don't do it alone. Connect with us in this community to be transformed. Join the Facebook group and be supported in your journey of transformation, because we cannot do it alone.
Speaker 1:I have learned absolutely have learned that it is essential to have girlfriends surrounding you. Mentors, coaches, therapists, you know whatever you need. You need support. Okay, jesus is king, let me tell you that and you need to partner with heaven and get the word of the Lord in you, but he sends people to help you go further, faster. Let me tell you he is a relationship God and he has people for you. So just know that you are so loved.
Speaker 1:I'm so excited that you're here, so excited to kick off our think cute podcast with a new season, with a new you know, just going forward with power. But please share this with a girlfriend that might be encouraged by this message today. Make sure you put a comment, let me know what you think and share your insights and your golden nugget takeaways. What did you take away from this? Give it a five star and give it a detailed review. So I know that what I'm sharing is touching your heart and helping you transform, step into your true identity. Be you times two. You're amazing and I will see you and catch you in the next episode.
